After a short delay in its champion release schedule around Easter and PAX East, Riot now seems to be getting back on track with bi-weekly releases. We’ve got our first look at Darius’ abilities, which you’ll be able to try out first-hand after the next patch.
Darius, an axe-wielding Noxian, has an interesting selection of abilities that revolve around his passive ability, Hemorrhage, which, surprisingly enough, causes bleeding on his target. The bleed effect of Hemorrhage can stack up to five times.
Darius’ active abilities are an area-of-effect axe swing, a crippling attack, an armor penetration buff and pull skill; and his ultimate, which deals a stack of true damage against enemy champions.
To read Darius’ full skill descriptions, and to read up on his lore, check out the League of Legends website.
Keep an eye on Hypable in the coming days for coverage of Darius’ champion spotlight.

(Confession: this writer will not be able to play this champion without thinking of another Darius: the Colourblind singer.)
