Electronic Arts announced today that Crysis 3, the existence of which was leaked last week by the publisher’s Origin digital distribution service, will arrive in spring 2015.
EA said the “sandbox shooter” will be set in the year 2047 in a Nanodome-covered New York City rainforest. Players will take control of the returning character, Prophet, in a revenge mission filled with the standard twists and turns.
Crysis 3 will utilize the latest CryEngine technology on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
