Capcom has officially offered up new details on the upcoming Resident Evil 6, including a long-awaited feature that many fans of the series have been calling for.
The publisher has revealed Chris Redfield’s part of the campaign will take place in a fictious coastal town near China. The still unnamed third playable character is a mercenary and his sections will be set in Eastern Europe.
Furthermore, Capcom has revealed the game will take place in the year 2015.
The biggest news to come from the publisher, though, has to be that the game will feature an “evolved control system,” that will allow players to shoot while moving, as well as roll in any direction and take cover. Melee will also be improved from past games.
Are you excited about finally being able to shoot while moving or do you consider yourself a purist and prefer tank controls?
