game now available off Facebook

Good news for all three of you who aren’t on Facebook: the online Game of Thrones Ascent game can now be played elsewhere! Find out how.

The Game of Thrones Ascent beta version launched on Facebook earlier this year, ahead of the Game of Thrones season 3 premiere. Now, Disruptor Beam has announced that the game will also be available to play on Kongregate, the online gaming site.

The social game, which allows players to design an original character and a sigil, and sees your influence in Westeros grow based on the decisions you make along the way, continues to be available to play for free both on Facebook and Kongregate.

As Game of Thrones season 3 progresses, Disruptor Beam will be adding more and more new content to the game, based on in-show story developments. The updates following last Sunday’s episode “Walk of Punishment” are:

  • Dozens of new quests and adventures from episode 3!
  • Two new competitive Alliance Challenges – Partake in a Grand Tourney in the Marches, or race across Essos against the Ancient Guild of Spicers!
  • New items are now available in the shop including the Royal Ledgers, a Valuable Prisoner, Wolf-Shaped Bread, and a very handy blade, the Chopper!

Are you playing Game of Thrones Ascent? And what do you think of it so far?
